Friends of Eckington School - FOES

The reason FOES exisits is to support the school and raise funds to help them realise the annual school development plan.

As a charity, FOES is committed to spending the money we raise wisely so it makes a real difference to the school and to the children of today and tomorrow.

We contribute £5 for each child every term along with some big spending throughout the year and last year FOES helped the school provide an IT suite with lots of computer workstations. This has been a fantastic addition to the school.

This year the attention is on the school hall and there are some big plans.
Foes will fund the replacement wall bars along with some soft play equipment. These additions will compliment the hall renovation which will include staging, lighting and a sound system.

We are also funding recorder lessons............

...........buying some musical instruments

and helping replace equipment in reception class and for PE.

There is more to be done this year and we are already talking to the school about exciting plans for next year... ....................watch this space.
